The Armed Forces Tribunal was constituted under Section 3 of the Armed Forces Tribunal Act, 2007, to exercise jurisdiction and powers to adjudicate and trial all disputes and complaints concerning commission, appointments, enrolments, and conditions of service under the Army Act, 1950, Navy Act, 1957, and Air Force Act, 1950. It also acts upon appeals from orders, findings, or sentences of courts-martial to ensure fair redress for the personnel who serve the Nation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The AFT uses a structured composition of Benches. Its Principal Bench is located in New Delhi, with Regional Benches in Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Kochi, Mumbai, Jabalpur, Srinagar, and Jaipur.
